Philosophy & Approach
Dr. Orah Peer is the Founder of Peer Physical Therapy. She treats a variety of patient populations including arthritis, tendinitis, joint muscle and ligament injuries. She excels in dry needling, return to sport, and pre- and post- surgical care.
Having been a Physical Therapist for the last six years, Orah also currently works at Northshore University HealthSystem, where she leads research efforts, participates in a variety of special interest groups, and a deep and diverse patient population over the years. She has created and implemented programs with high school student athletes and coaches for injury screens, dynamic warm ups, and strength programs. She graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in Champaign.

When not treating patients, Orah enjoys weightlifting, Pilates, and meditation. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and looks to spend as much time outside as she can.
